We're almost halfway through the summer. But Demi Lovato is still keeping it cool. After making waves with the release of her sexy new single "Cool for the Summer," Lovato is now prepping for the release of the track's music video with a series of fittingly hot teasers on her Twitter.
Starting on Sunday (July 19), Lovato teased the release of "Cool for the Summer," which is due out on Thursday, July 23. The first teaser was a simple picture, featuring Lovato lying down on some sort of fur bed. Her arm is thrown over her head and her head is tossed to the side.
Lovato played up the sexuality of the screenshot with some skillfully placed emojis on her Twitter.
But, that wasn't all that Lovato had in store. The following day, Lovato teased a 15-second video snippet of "Cool for the Summer." Beyond being hyper sexy, "Cool for the Summer" seems to focus on a contemplative Lovato, who is reliving a summer romance through some hot flashbacks. She can be seen driving around in a convertible with friends and strolling into a pool party between flashes of lying down on the ground and video footage of some romance past at a party.

The music video for "Cool for the Summer" will drop on Thursday, June 23. That's just two days to go for all the Lovatics out there!
"Cool for the Summer" is the first single off Lovato's new album, which is due to be released on her new label Safehouse Records. The new album, which has still yet to receive official details, will be the follow-up to Lovato's 2013 effort DEMI, which spawned the singles "Heart Attack," "Made in the USA," "Neon Lights" and "Really Don't Care."
