Earlier this summer, we were treated to a great new album from DJ/producer Four Tet, but just two months later we're getting even newer tracks! This new song is entitled "BACK2THESTART" and was apparently written on a plane. Have a listen right here:
Angel Deradoorian, formerly of Dirty Projectors, is releasing her debut solo album The Expanding Flower Planet later this month, but this week we were treated to a great new track to get us excited. Fans of the multi-instrumentalist and talented singer will enjoy the layered, Middle Eastern inspired new song, entitled "Komodo." Listen to this new song right here:
This week on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, FKA twigs premiered her latest track, "Figure 8." You can listen to FKA twigs' new track and an interview about her upcoming music right here!
Perhaps the biggest music release of the week was Dr. Dre's highly anticipated new solo album, Compton. The legendary hip-hop mogul premiered the new record after plenty of hype around it was built up, and you can stream the entire album right here!
Speaking of album streams, acclaimed pop songstress Robyn teamed up with La Bagatelle Magique this year to bring fans even more amazing songs. This week, the collaborative group released Love is Free, a "mini-album" consisting of five amazing electronica, pop tracks. Head over to Consequence of Sound to stream this new release right now!
Fans of Music Times' Mixtape Mondays understand that we are in love with covers! Hearing new takes on other tunes is just plain fun if you ask us. So this week we have some great examples of covers to share with you!

Frog Eyes this week premiered their newest track, which happened to be one of the longest titles we've seen. "Two Girls (One for Heaven and the Other One for Rome)" is sure to please fans of the indie-rockers, with a great taste of what's new with the band. Listen to this song right here:
Beach House this week previewed two new tracks off of the upcoming 2015 album Depression Cherry. Considering these aren't full songs, we're counting it as one submission to our Mixtape this week. Have listen right here!
