SauceLordRich of FKi Gets Iggy Azalea for "G.U.N.S." on Upcoming Mixtape - 'Know Me'

SauceLordRich, one-half of production duo FKi, has gotten Iggy Azalea for "G.U.N.S." ("Girls Under No Supervision"), the first track of his upcoming mixtape, Know Me. Iggy's had a pretty tough year, so jumping on an underground record like this should put her back in hip-hop's good graces. The new club banger is produced by FKi as well as fellow Atlantan, Dun Deal. Listen to the track below.

FKi, made up of SauceLordRich and 1st, are among the most seasoned producers in Atlanta. Most recently, they produced 2 Chainz' latest club crusher, "Watch Out." They've also produced everything that "White Iverson" rapper, Post Malone, has put out, helping him ink a new deal with Republic Records just a few songs into his career.

The Iggy feature on Rich's new track seems like an odd choice, but FKi produced one of Azalea's breakout hits, "I Think She Ready," alongside Diplo, so they've obviously kept in touch as both of their careers have taken off.

Last year, Azealea had a No. 1 single with "Fancy" and her debut album, The New Classic, went gold. As she was cast into the unforgiving mainstream eye, she was inundated with charges of being a "culture vulture" and the rest of the media's attention focused on her plastic surgeries and Twitter beefs.

In an interview with Complex, FKi predicted an Azalea comeback, with their help, and getting her on "G.U.N.S." is step one. An Iggy feature will also give one of SauceLord's first records the major exposure it deserves.

SauceLord comes with a flow similar to Takeoff of Migos, with direct, extra-rhythmic pronunciation, bouncing from syllable to syllable over the minimal, club-banging production. Though her detractors don't want Iggy anywhere near the genre, she makes an unapologetic foray back into hip-hop with "G.U.N.S.," a complete turn away from the other two poppy records she's released this year, "Pretty Girls" with Britney Spears and "Trouble" with Jennifer Hudson.

After Rich puts out Know Me, FKi (both members) have an EP coming out on Diplo's Mad Decent.
