Azaleans, worry not. Iggy Azalea is not a heroin addict. After rumors circulated that the "Fancy" rapper was sporting marks similar to track marks, the 25-year-old rapper shut down the lies on Twitter.
Earlier this week, gossip sites such as MediaTakeOut reported that Azalea was struggling with heroin abuse. Citing marks on her hands that resembled drug addicted track marks, the tabloid claimed Azalea and boyfriend Nick Young were struggling with this issue.
But, Azalea had no time for that. She and Young are currently on vacation in her native Australia. After she landed, Azalea quickly dismissed the rumors. Those track marks? They were more like cat marks.
Just landed in australia and iam dying with laughter because nicks just showed me an article that says im a heroin addict. WHAT?! LOL.

could be injecting heroin into my hands.... OR could just be scratches from @AleHerself's evil cat that attacked me the other week. — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) August 17, 2015

At least Azalea has some humor about the matter. When she isn't dismissing drug addiction rumors, Azalea is slowly creeping back in to the music space. Earlier this week on Twitter, she admitted that she had recorded a rap verse for Demi Lovato's new album.
Recorded an awesome verse for demi today. very cool song. — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) August 14, 2015
Azalea's own new record is due for release in 2016. The follow-up to her debut The New Classic is set to feature about 10 tracks and will be released simultaneously with a documentary.
