On Tuesday night (August 18), BET kicked off the new season of Punk'd with Chris Brown and K. Michelle making the first appearances.
Brown, who was previously pranked on MTV's version of the show, was set up by his "Poppin" collaborator French Montana. The prank took place at a video shoot, where a young actress pretended to be alone on set without her parents. Breezy, who appeared to be alarmed, refused to continue shooting until he knew the girl was okay.
"I got 'Punk'd' before, but this actually had me on the edge of my seat. I'm just glad it's not real," he said.
K. Michelle, on the other hand, had her first experience getting pranked on camera, with help from a couple of her friends. Things took an interesting turn when the Memphis songstress gets set up with a crazy Uber driver, who receives a call from his cheating girlfriend.
The hot tempered songstress eventually gets fed up with the driver, takes the wheel and drives off.
As previously reported, Brown was spotted on the set of an actual video shoot for his single "Liquor" earlier this month. The "Loyal" crooner was seen flaunting his Rezvani Beast on the streets of downtown Los Angeles and shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram.
"Liquor" is set to appear on his seventh album, due this fall.
This month, Brown also kicked off his "One Hell of a Nite" tour with special guests Kid Ink, Omarion, Fetty Wap and Teyana Taylor.
Back in July, it was announced that K. Michelle would hit the road with Azealia Banks for a North American tour. The femcee later reported that the alt-R&B vocalist pulled out, resulting in cancellation.
The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star recently become the first African American to ever to get an endorsement deal with the Jack Daniels liquor brand.
