Since 2012, the Night in the Country festival has been the largest outdoor country music concert in Northern Nevada. The 3-day festival offers camping, music and this year, extreme bull riding has been added to the fun.
General admission tickets are currently $95 but will go up to $105 on April 1st with gate prices reaching $115. The bull riding event is extra, with tickets running $10 each (or, if you’re brave-enough, $150-200 for box seats for those who want to be so close to the action that they get dirty!) Camping spots are already sold out for the 2014 event but there are plenty of RV parks, hotels and resorts nearby that still have available space.
On Friday, festival goers will be treated to music from Brantley Gilbert, Blackjack Billy, Morgan Frazier and Moonshine Bandits. The party will continue on Saturday with Little Big Town, David Nail, Chase Rice and Katie Armiger.
Traffic issues, which have been a problem in the past, should be less this year with the campgrounds opening on Thursday and traffic to the camping area being routed off of the main highway.
