We all know that R&B star Tinashe knows how to dance, and she doesn't disappoint in her just-released extended video for cuts "Bet" and "Feels Like Vegas." It starts with static from a Los Angeles weather report and ends with the singer drenched in sweat, wriggling in a traffic tunnel, which we can only assume is also in the City of Angels. She could be a Gatorade ad in this, because she is just that sweaty, although we don't think her male fanbase is complaining about any of the seductive imagery.
Flash to the statement "All In Good Time," which is displayed across her perspiration drenched sports bra with her arms stretched, way, way above her head. The next line reads "1:48 a.m. Somewhere in LA," that makes us think that perhaps the singer is usually restless after midnight in this film.
There is static in the first few clips, which then transfers into the smooth R&B lines that she is known for. We see headlights in the distance as she does sport stretches, rolling back and forth on her hips, her posterior in the air and her arms positioned behind her shoulders.
The film transitions into track "Bet" with a image of her bedroom eyes and sweat-drenched face as she stands up straight and rocks back and forth on her hips in the traffic tunnel, displaying a fantastic set of abs. The cars drive by but seemingly miss her as she undulates up against the wall, more covered up in some shots with a sporty red sweatshirt - still unzipped of course. She moves to the lyrics ("Sky's on / Sky's on / Sky's on fire / Lightning") and continues to writhe around the screen.
As the track continues, Tinashe gets even more into her workout, dropping way down to the floor and up again. She intensifies with each passing moment in the video, alternating between walking and bending over the floor with a determined expression on her face. The extended film, directed by Stephen Garnett features two cuts "Bet" and "Feels Like Vegas" from her latest album Aquarius.
