During an interview with Australias' KIIS 1065 radio station host Jackie O, Justin Bieber admitted that he "loves to be in love." Despite rampant rumors that he is dating model Xenia Ali from his recent "What Do You Mean?" music video, according to the interview with the station he is very single. Bieber has often come under fire for his relationships and maybe true, maybe untrue lists online make him out to be quite the dog, one even claimed that he had dated both Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
People reported that when the hosts asked who he'd be bringing to Australia, 21-year-old Bieber replied, "I haven't been in a relationship for awhile now." Kyle also brought up the question of why a superstar in his early 20s would want to be in a relationship at all, to which Bieber replied, "I'm a relationship type of guy. I love to be in love, love cuddling. I love all of that stuff."
Poor Biebs, as it was widely reported that he and Selena Gomez (his longest running relationship) had an extremely unhealthy romance and it was consistently played out before the public in tabloids and online gossip forums. He also thanked radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O for not "paying attention to the jokes" and "always being supportive of him," although he recogized that by getting the listeners to laugh they are just doing their jobs.
It's understandable why he would shut down any mention of his ex-girlfriend when radio host Jackie O attempted to bring it up, but E! Online reported that he was willing to talk about rumors that her name appeared in spray paint on the wall in the far corner of the screen of his new music video "What Do You Mean?" The Beliebers immediately jumped on this when the video was released but his simple reponse was, "I think it might be fake... it wasn't me who did that," which has been a question in the mind of fans since her name also mysteriously appeared in another music video "Where Are U Now?"
Justin was doing the interview to promote his Bieber Island performance (Sept. 30) on Sydney Harbor for an Australian promo visit. He's been working hard to rebuild his reputation after a series of embarrassing antics over the past few years and his upcoming album will likely reflect this accordingly.
