Mel Tillis Recovering From Heart Surgery

After having heart surgery this past weekend, 81-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer Mel Tillis is doing well. Pam, his daughter, issued a statement about her dad's condition, saying, "Over the weekend, Daddy required a routine heart procedure. He’s doing fantastic and is expected to make a full recovery. In typical Mel Tillis fashion, he’s already cutting up and cracking jokes with the nurses. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated."
