Showing his upmost appreciation and support for ultimate pop star, Taylor Swift, a Maryland farmer named Jeff Greenwood took to his 12-acre cornfield to cut out a giant rendition of the 1989 singer's face.
The Maryland cornfield doubles as a corn maze, which now proudly displays and allows visitors to navigate their way through Swift's face and the accompanying phrase, "Dare To Be Different." As The Gaurdian notes, farm owners Jeff Greenwood and wife Teresa Summers Greenwood craft a fresh topical corn maze annually. Previous creations have boasted Super Bowl-winning teams and politicians. The maze depicted the faces of 2012 presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney indulging in a game of tug of war with the American flag.
When questioned on their "Bad Blood" singer-centered corn maze, Greenwood responded, "We just felt that she's a true, real person, and an amazing role model for everybody in how she treats people and just how she carries herself."
Further divulging that he identities as a long-time "Swiftie," Greenwood mentioned that it took an entire day to shape the corn field into Swift's face. Originally, it was meant to reveal her entire body, but the lack of space forced a facial reform.
Visit the corn maze between September 26 to November 1 but be warned, visitors must remain focused as the latest maze is a hard one. It can be finished in as little as two hours but it could potentially take much longer. "If you make the wrong turn, you might be in there a while," he added.
As of late, the "Wildest Dreams" singer took to her various forms of social media to parade her latest Emmy award, stating that she has "no chill" after posting five selfies with the golden man. Swift received her first-ever Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media -Original Interactive Program last Thursday for her app, AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience, NME notes.
