Earlier in the week, Atlanta rapper T.I. a.k.a, Tip, stopped by Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning Show and discussed a variety of topics such as his upcoming project, The Dime Trap, as well as his mentee Iggy Azalea and having to disassociate himself from her. The "Pretty Girls" rapper wasn't too fond of some of the things said during the interview and Azalea proceeded to air out T.I. for suggesting they parted ways, saying "I'm still signed to Tip."
The Aussie rapper took to Twitter to blast her former mentor out in a series of tweets reprimanding him for speaking out regarding their relationship, with her being, in fact, clueless of any outstanding "issues" between them.
According to Azalea, the two still have a working relationship and do business with one another, as she is technically still signed to him.
Heres the deal, I am still signed to @tip and do business with him. The first ive heard of us having an "issue" is via a radio interview.

Personally, i dont think the radio is the place to talk about your personal issues with someone thats part of your team... — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) September 17, 2015
He seems to think theres nothing wrong with what he said, everybody else seems to disagree. — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) September 17, 2015
Im sure tip will publicly clarify what he meant when he feels he has the right platform to do so and other than that, im chillin. — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) September 17, 2015
The friction stems from when the "No Mediocre" rapper was pretty vocal about how he had cut ties with Azalea after her run-in with hip hop veteran Q-Tip following his vain attempt to serve as the mediator in their confrontation. T.I. explained, "After I kind of had smoothed it over, like OK, 'What is really meant to be said here is...' After it was cool, everything was cool, and then they kind of came back and undid what I had just [accomplished]. T.I. insinuated that helping Azalea had become counter productive to the cause. T.I. didn't directly respond to the jabs Azalea took online, however he did post an iconic picture of the late great 2Pac Shakur cool and collected with the caption, "#Mood".
