Justin Bieber may be in a bunch of trouble and legal controversy these days, with court dates, rekindled romances and a bratty deposition making more headlines than his music, but that doesn't mean the 20-year-old is going to stop. Over the weekend, Bieber dropped a 15-second snippet of a new song on his Instagram account, and he's trying to be optimistic with a song title of "Life Is Worth Living."
"Life is worth living, / So live another day," he croons over a piano-laden melody.
Though the new music is nothing but a little taste of what's to come, "Life Is Worth Living" seems to take Bieber back closer to his roots as a musical artist and away from the R&B-leanings of his 2013 album Journals.
And, unlike the annoying "Broken," which found Bieber complaining about the way the media and the world perceives him, this track seems like it takes him to an introspective place. Or, perhaps, he's reaching out to a troubled friend or Belieber. Regardless, this seems less whiny and more proactive.

It's unknown what project this song will be a part of, though Bieber is rumored to be prepping an album for the final quarter of 2014.
Despite his DUI arrest and acting out behaviors, Bieber has steadily been recording new music in the studio all year.
