Young Thug's Debut Album 'Hy!£UN35' & Dates of Supporting Tour Postponed

The release of Young Thug's debut album, Hy!£UN35, has been delayed yet again. In addition, Atlantic Records just released a statement explaining why the album and dates of Thug's supporting tour have been postponed.

On Wednesday, Thug's label issued a statement about the postponement.

"Regrettably, the following Young Thug Hy!£UN35 Tour has been postponed," the statement says, according to HipHopDX. "Young Thug will use this time to focus on putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35. The postponed dates will be rescheduled to 2016 in support of the release of the Hy!£UN35 album. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Shows in Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Scottsdale, Arizona; Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and Silver Spring, Maryland have been canceled. However, performances in Kansas City, San Diego and Atlanta remain on Thug’s schedule.

Tory Lanez, who released his Cruel Intentions mixtape in June, was set to serve as opener on a number of the dates. No word on whether or not he will still appear on the tour.

Thug's debut album was set to arrive this month via Lyor Cohen's 300 Ent. "It's launching on, I think, Sept. 24," he previously said of the album. "But I don't know. I might take it back because I've got a couple new songs I may want to play for the label. All the songs are perfect, so..." The album was originally slated to be released in August.

Just last week, the ATL rhymer decided to finally release his Slime Season mixtape.

The tape, which was initially said to be a full-length collaboration with producer London On Da Track, also includes production from Metro Boomin and Southside. Slime Season was originally slated to drop the same day as Lil Wayne's Free Weezy Album. If you haven't already, check it out here.
