Late last week, two men were fatally shot in a marijuana dispensary allegedly belonging to Chief Keef that is located in Compton, California. However, according to the Bang 3 Part 2 rapper, he has no affiliation with the dispensary whatsoever despite an Instagram post he created last October that conflicts with his recent statement. The Chicago rapper is now refuting any connection with the Glo Gang Shop, claiming that a fan opened the shop. In October of 2014, Keef made his Instagram followers aware that he had indeed opened up a marijuana dispensary posting a video to the social media site that showed off his alleged business's new digs. Now that the establishment has become a crime scene, the "Bouncin" rapper is singing a different tune entirely.
Keef's manager, Rovaun Manuel, informed authorities " not only does Keef not own the shop, but he's never even been there. Manuel says that a fan opened the dispensary without notifying the rapper, who later learned of its existence", Stereogum reports.
Sources indicate that the Glo Gang shop allegedly belonged to Wolf Da Boss who is an affiliate of Keef's who more than likely paid the rapper a fee to promote the business as his own. Boss, along with Terrence Brown, were the victims of the shooting.
No leads or motives behind the crime have been given at this time.
