However, until now, mention of the Chicago rapper in the classroom was scant, especially in elementary school. As was previously reported, this did not deter a substitute teacher from John Fiske Elementary School in Chicago from creating a lesson plan for her sixth grade music class surrounding the legally troubled rapper and his short history since his sudden rise to fame in mid-2012. The lesson plan also included homework about Chris Brown. Due to backlash, the teacher was fired.
