'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice $200K Bravo Prison Interview Deal is Hoax Claims Anonymous Source

Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) star Teresa Giudice was allegedly looking at a huge pay off for her first post-prison interview with Bravo, $200,000 to be exact, according to a recent webloid report. If you're a celebrity, media outlets tend to offer big money for the first scoop of information after a stint in prison or rehab, so news of a big payout didn't faze most listeners. However, according to Gossip Cop, the story is a complete hoax. Anonymous sources at the website allegedly confirmed the lack of validity in the deal after being exclusively told it's "not true at all."

Last year, the 43-year-old mother of four was sentenced to 15 months behind bars for bankruptcy and mortgage fraud charges. She's currently being held in the Danbury Federal Correctional Institute in Connecticut, and Giudice has been serving time behind bars since January 2015.

With just months until her release, speculations have been surfacing about deals the reality star might have put together in order to generate more publicity, as well as help pay for her debts. Bravo, the media company behind all the Real Housewives series, had allegedly placed the highest bid for her first tell-all conversation about prison life, according to Radar Online.

"Bravo is giving Teresa the huge paycheck because her contract to film Real Housewives of New Jersey didn't include the post prison interview," Radar Online reported on Monday (Sept. 28). "Teresa's attorney brokered the deal and was able to get $200,000 because there was bidding with several entertainment news programs."

While the hefty paycheck sounds like a decent settlement, Gossip Cop claimed the table-flipping reality star has not made any official arrangements or agreements with Bravo or any other network for her first on-air interview. The source apparently "laughed" at the idea of her booking this deal.

Fans will still be able to catch Giudice and her crazy antics in an upcoming three-part reality special about her time served in prison brought to you by none other than Bravo. The show will include everything from Giudice admitting she misses having sex with her husband, Joe Giudice, to how her daughters are adjusting with their mother gone.

Joe, Teresa's husband of 15 years, is expected to serve a 41-month sentence after pleading guilty to conspiring to commit mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. Joe could also face deportation back to his native country of Italy, but that ruling has yet to be made.

Giudice's three-part bravo special, The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, is scheduled to premiere on October 11. The show will feature "daily calls" and "family visits."
