Young Thug Shares Trippy Video for 'Power' Following Tour, Album Delay

After announcing the delay of his debut album and supporting tour, Young Thug is showing no sign of letting up with the release of visual offerings. Thug recently shared a trippy video for "Power" from his Slime Season mixtape.

The video follows a slew of other eye-catching Be El Be-directed clips and opens with two men breaking into a house, presumably receiving their "power." Elsewhere, he hits his dab on a Hovertrax board, shoots some hoop and chills near some cool architecture. The various effects make the video an interesting watch.

Earlier this month, Thug released his Slime Season mixtape, which was originally slated to drop the same day as Lil Wayne's Free Weezy Album back in July. The tape, which was initially said to be a full-length collaboration with producer London On Da Track, also includes production from Metro Boomin and Southside with guest spots from Wayne and the Migos.

The project was eventually released just before Atlantic Records announced that Thug's debut, Hy!£UN35, had been delayed yet again along with his tour with Tory Lanez.

"Regrettably, the following Young Thug Hy!£UN35 Tour has been postponed," the label wrote in a statement. "Young Thug will use this time to focus on putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35. The postponed dates will be rescheduled to 2016 in support of the release of the Hy!£UN35 album. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Hy!£UN35 has been postponed various times with the most recent release date set for Sept. 24. No word on when to expect the project. As for the tour, shows in Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Scottsdale, Arizona; Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and Silver Spring, Maryland have been canceled. However, performances in Kansas City, San Diego and Atlanta remain on Thug’s schedule.
