Each and every week we put together our favorite tracks that had premiered a few days prior into one magnificent mixtape to share with you and your friends. This time around we've decided to share new 2015 songs from The Weeknd, Car Seat Headrest, Talib Kweli and more right here!

"Every Ghetto" could be one of the most powerful songs of 2015, and considering it's coming from hip-hop icon Talib Kweli, we're not surprised. This new number is off of Kweli's upcoming collaborative album with producer 9th Wonder, entitled Indie 500. This week, the rapper took to the stage on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, backed by The Roots and accompanied by Rapsody for an amazing performance. Check it out right here:
You guys; everyone's talking about Car Seat Headrest and we get it! The recent Matador Records signing is tearing up the indie rock, pop punk world with simple, catchy songs that strike chords with late-20-somethings. This week, singer-songwriter Will Toledo treated us to his new take on one of his older songs, "Times to Die," which has us very excited for his upcoming album, Teens of Style, out at the end of the month. Listen to this song right here:
If you're a fan of remixes, we have two great new tracks from one of the biggest artists of the year, The Weeknd, reworking some tunes with two other huge artists, Nicki Minaj and Eminem! While these are two separate remixes, they're of the same song: "The Hills." Before performing on Saturday Night Live this week, The Weeknd dropped these new remixes and then brought Minaj on stage to show it off some more! You can check out the recordings of these remixes and a live performance from the NBC show over at Consequence of Sound!
While Sir Paul McCartney doesn't really seem like an artist that embraces remixes, he did release a reworked version of "Say, Say, Say," his hit duet with Michael Jackson this week. Listen to it right here!
Another name that's been tearing up the same markets as Car Seat Headrest is singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, who has this week released a cover of Boys Next Door/The Birthday Party guitarist Rowland S. Howard's "Shivers." Have a listen right here!
Sure, remixes are cool, but we also love covers! Listen to James Blake covering Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" right here and a recently unearthed cover of The Beatles' "And I Love Her" by Kurt Cobain!
Last week we shared the amazingly catchy new track "Sand" from lo-fi singer-songwriter Greta Kline, aka Frankie Cosmos, which was produced by Aaron Maine, aka Porches. This week, we hear an upcoming track called "Hours" from Porches' upcoming Domino Records full-length album. We hear Kline's vocals mixed with Maine's, making us hope that these two continue making music forever! Check out this infectious new track right here:
David Bowie is someone we don't need to hype up when it comes to new music, right? In that case, the prolific music maker is creating the soundtrack to the upcoming UK crime series The Last Panthers, and this week shared the theme song "Blackstar." Have a listen right here!
If you're looking to share some music with a pal or a significant other, we think that this new mix is perfect for such a gift! Enjoy these songs together!
