'Allison Road' Gameplay News: Kickstarter Cancelled as Indie 'P.T.' Title Joins Team17

Independent video game developer Lilith Ltd. caught the attention of the gaming world earlier in 2015 when the teaser trailer for Allison Road had us excited due to its similarities to the big-budget cancelled title Silent Hills' "P.T" trailer. Basically, our prayers were answered with this first-person horror survival title, so plenty of supporters visited Lilith's crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter to get some gameplay developed! This week, the studio announced that the campaign has been cancelled because they've signed on with game publish Team17 - which is great news!

The goal for Allison Road was set at $384,000. While they only raised about $225,000 of that goal, Lilith decided to cancel the Kickstarter in order to completely commit to the new deal with the publisher, according to Polygon.

If you visit the game's Kickstarter page, you'll see a lengthy message that announces this news, thanking supporters and sharing the team's excitement regarding the new partnership.

"We are delighted to announce that we will be joining Team17's highly successful games label," Lilith stated, according to IGN.

"Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25-year-old studio can give," the team continued, according to Destructoid. "For all of you that have pledged already for in game rewards, we absolutely promise you that we will look at ways outside of Kickstarter that will allow you to be involved in the game at a later date."
