Ariana Grande's rollout for hew new single "Focus" has been a slow one. The pop star first announced the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month and there's been little momentum for it since. But, on Wednesday (Oct. 14), fans finally got a first peek at what's to come... the single artwork. And Grande is sporting a brand new hair color.
Best known for her brunette locks (oftentimes styled in her signature high ponytail), Grande is platinum blone on the cover of "Focus," which she debuted on her Twitter. However, the picture is in greyscale, so fans don't really get the full effect of a bleach blonde Grande.
The picture itself is simple, however. Grande is wearing a white crop top and matching skirt to help add to the washed out effect of her new hair color. She's leaning up against a blank wall, staring off in to the distance. Meanwhile, her name and the single title "Focus" are projected on to her, ironically enough, they're slightly out of focus.
"Focus" is the latest single to be released from Grande, and it will act as the lead track for her third studio album Moonlight. After a month of waiting, "Focus" is due for release on Friday, Oct. 30. Moonlight has yet to receive a release date, though it will be Grande's third record in four years. She first released Yours Truly in August 2013 and followed up with My Everything one year later.
