Tiny Clarifies T.I.'s Statement About Not Voting for Hillary Clinton

Following T.I.'s presumed sexist statement about not voting for Hillary Clinton, his wife Tiny took it upon herself to clarify what the rapper recently said during an interview with DJ Whoo Kid.

While the former Xscape singer did admit that her husband's comments were in bad taste, she feels some of what he said may have been misdirected. In fact, she thinks he may have been thinking of her when he said a female president could potentially "just set off a nuke."

TMZ caught up with her in the airport and she said, “Sometimes [he’s sexist]. He just lives in the old ‘man take care of woman,’ chivalry-type thing. I didn’t hear it, but I would hope he was joking. He might’ve been thinking about me at the time. He just wants to be the man. He wants to take care of everything, and he want the woman to be a woman and be treated like a princess. Sometimes I do [agree with him], I can’t say that I don’t. But I also think that a woman has the right to do just as much as a man.”

While talking with DJ Whoo Kid, Tip said that he would not vote for Clinton because "women make rash decisions emotionally – they make very permanent, cemented decisions – and then later, it’s kind of like it didn’t happen, or they didn’t mean for it to happen."

He went on to say that the Loch Ness Monster has a better chance at getting elected over a woman. The Atlanta rapper later took to Twitter to apologize for his initial commentary. Since then, even Oprah Winfrey has chimed in on his off-the-wall comments.
