Keith Urban stays pretty active on his Facebook, engaging with his fans and keeping them updated. He also likes hearing from them, finding out what their thoughts are on his music. Recently, he asked fans which one of his songs meant the most to them. These were some of the most cherished songs with the stories behind why ...

He asked, "Of all the songs in Keith's catalogue, which one means the most to YOU?... And why?"

And the fans responded ....

  1. "Making Memories of Us" - Having 4 teenage daughters, I pray that someday they can relate 100% to this song. May they always be loved and cherished like every woman deserves ...
  2. "Song for Dad" - Discovered this one while my father was dying of cancer, still love listening to it now. You never know how a song you put out there is going to touch someone and why, but I guess that is why you do what you do!
From the song ...When I look in the mirror
He's right there in my eyes
Starin' back at me and I realize
    The older I get
    The more I can see
How much he loved my mother and my brother and me

  4. "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" - My favorite dog, Charlie, always liked that song (apparently) because every time I would play it he would come into the living room and dance in circles and pant and smile! Lol. When he was older and dying that was the only thing that he would get up for... to come in and dance with me to that song. As soon as he heard motorcycles at the beginning of that video he would come running!
  5. "For You" - Because it reminds me of the sacrifices that our Veterans have made for us throughout history.
  6. "Everybody" - My daughter was in a coma for a week after a 12 hour seizure. That song and constant prayer got me though that time. By the grace of God she awoke. It gave us a whole new appreciation of the line, "You've got a voice let it be heard." (bTW she's perfect and healthy)
