5 Seconds of Summer: Hey Everybody
The video features the boys of 5SOS working a variety of terrible, low paying jobs. Michael Clifford is relegated to spinning hot dog signs on the street corner, Calum Hood has a dog walking business, Luke Hemmings is a temp at a crappy office and Ashton Irwin is a children's birthday performer, dressed in a dinosaur costume for some extra adorable-ness.
Between shots of the band performing, we also see the 5 Seconds of Summer fantasies of what life would be like if they weren't quite so broke. In the gardens of an estate property, 5SOS ride around on Segway scooters, create their own video game, hold a private wrestling match and spin some canes while wearing spiffy white suits.
Playing into the excessive lifestyle aspect of the video, 5SOS also parody rap videos by making it rain dolla dolla bills, yo.
"Hey Everybody" is the latest single from 5 Seconds of Summer's forthcoming album Sounds Good Feels Good, which is finally due to be released on Friday, Oct. 23. "Hey Everybody" follows the release and promotion of the lead Sounds Good, Feels Good single "She's Kinda Hot."
