Although the two have called it quits romantically, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have teamed up for some new music. Their new collaboration was shared on the latest stream of Drake's OVO Sound Radio.
The track, reportedly titled "Strong," finds the two famous exes singing about a love lost and reminiscing on what they used to have. Despite their highly publicized on-again, off-again relationship, this marks the first time the two have collaborated on wax.
Coincidentally, Bieber and Gomez have both recently spoken out on their relationship. While Gomez told Elle magazine that she considers Bieber a "genuinely" good friend, he admitted to Complex that the two singers were so deeply in love while they were together.
It is unclear whether or not the track will be featured on Bieber's forthcoming album, Purpose. Earlier this month, he revealed the title of his new album, which is set to be released on Nov. 13. He announced the title in a series of tweets accompanied with a new visual. More recently, he shared snippets of two new songs on his Instagram account. Purpose will be Bieber's first new project in three years. His last album, Believe, featured the singles "Boyfriend" and "As Long As You Love Me."
Fresh off the release of her new album, Revival, Gomez has been performing live renditions of her new music on shows like Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The album has thus far been led by singles "Good for You" and "Same Old Love." Early in October, Gomez released the promo track "Me and the Rhythm." She's also been gearing up for her recently announced tour. As previously reported, Gomez's Revival tour will kick off on May 6, 2016 and it's set to hit 41 cities across the United States and Canada.
