Hip-hop trio Migos are pretty quick on their feet. Following news of their involvement in a Florida highway shooting, the group has released a visual for their track "First 48."
The video looks like a crime scene as Quavo, Takeoff and Offset tote machine guns, bats and machetes as they talk tough.
As previously reported, the group was heading back to their hotel from a local nightclub when they were met with gunfire early Friday (March 28) morning on Interstate 95.
"They were supposed to be performing at Cafe Iguanas in Broward and for whatever reason, there was an altercation or disagreement with management, and they didn't perform," FHP trooper Joe Sanchez told 7 News. "So as they were driving southbound on I-95, according to the witnesses in the van, a dark vehicle pulled alongside them and opened fire. A member of the group was in possession of his personal handgun, and he returned fire."
One person was wounded in the incident. Reports on the person's identity have been mixed.
HiphopDX reported that the injured person was a member of Migos, however, 7 News reports that authorities have said the victim may be a member of the hip-hop group or a part of their entourage.
TMZ reports that the group's bodyguard was the shooting victim.
The group's manager told the site no one on the van was injured. He says "there was at least 40 rounds being blasted."
The victim was reportedly shot in the leg.
