Gilmore Girls, the gone-too-soon situational family comedy from creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, is possibly getting a comeback season thanks to Netflix! Yes, you can watch every episode of the series, starring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, on the online streaming service, but now there's talk of new episodes coming our way! In fact, reports claim that they'll be more like mini-movies since they'll run for about 90 minutes per episode. Sherman-Palladino will finally have her own closure with the show, since she departed before the seventh and final season. Read more on this news below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, while taking part in a reunion at the 2015 Austin TV Festival, Sherman-Palladino revealed that she regretted not ending the series the way she wanted.
"It's always a bummer when you don't get to end it," she explained. "I had hoped maybe that there would have been a call, 'Hey, it's the last episode, do you want to come back?' And there wasn't. But that's OK, that's not the way it works in Hollywood where there are rules."
She promised fans that, if she got the chance, she'd end it in the way it should've, instead of how we all saw it conclude.
Luckily for fans of the show, it looks like she'll get her chance! TV Line is reporting that Netflix and Sherman-Palladino are currently working on deals with Bledel and Graham to return for four, 90-minute episodes that will wrap up the series correctly. IGN says Kelly Bishop ("Emily Gilmore") and Scott Patterson ("Luke Danes") are also in talks to return to the limited-run of the comeback season.
If you remember the finale, Rory left to work on Hillary Clinton's 2006 campaign while Lorelei and Luke made the next step in their relationship. We didn't get to see their wedding, so perhaps we'll see it soon!
