Martinez isn't about to let Arsenal's victory over Munich scare him or his team.
"I wouldn't say that a team as experienced in those European nights as Arsenal would suffer a hangover," he explained, according to PremierLeague.com. "I don't expect them to have any negative effect. If anything, they get an incredible momentum after that victory and they've got a big enough squad to find fresh legs if they need to and Arsene Wenger is the best man in doing that. Historically it's not a fixture we do too well in at our football club so it's another incentive for us."
Meanwhile, Wenger's main decision headed into today's match is which striker he'll play. He has a tough but lucky problem of having Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud available to him, but choosing isn't easy.
"It's a difficult decision but it's part of our job as well. We are in a job where competition exists and we have to accept that," he said, according to his team's website. "They are top players, I consider the form, the game on the day but at the end of the season both will have played their share of games. At the moment it is Theo but in a few weeks it might be Giroud. What is important is that both contribute."
