Sad news has come out of the DJ Snake and Tchami camps in the past 12 hours. According to an official statements from their managers, DJ Snake and Tchami's manager, though it appears Tchami as well, were involved in a car accident. Due to the injuries sustained and by doctor's order's the pair will no longer be able to travel and have postponed all tour dates until further notice.
The crash thankfully was not fatal, but was obviously serious enough where they are not able to tour for a considerable amount of time.
DJ Snake has a constant tour schedule with plenty of dates ahead of him heading into November that are at risk. Ending October, he has a residency gig at Surrender Nightclub, as well as two shows In Puerto Rico and Escape From Wonderland on Halloween. Then he is slated to perform at EDC Orlando on Nov. 6 with an Indian tour in the middle of the month, followed by the Stereosonic Tour in Australia to close out the month. It will depend on how serious these injuries are that will determine how long he is off the road for, especially with these lengthy flights away from Paris.
Tchami has a lighter touring schedule with just Freaky Deaky and Voodoo Music & Arts Festival on the cards for Halloween weekend.
DJ Snake just released his new subdued single "Middle" last week in anticipation of a new album arriving sometime next year. Tchami has been pretty quiet with his releases this year, but did drop "Missing You" from his After Life EP in June.
