Earlier this week, charismatic Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz appeared in court and pled not guilty to drug possession.
According to The Daily Chronic, 2 Chainz appeared at a Los Angeles court Tuesday morning for his arraignment.
The site also reports that Chainz' appearance was extremely brief. TMZ says he was only in court for two minutes.
As previously reported, the "Feds Watchin'" rapper was arrested last June at LAX after TSA agents allegedly found codeine and marijuana in one of his checked bags.
He was charged last week, nearly a year after his initial arrest.
Back in September, Chainz spoke on his legal woes on an episode of MTV's RapFix Live.
"I don't do anything illegal," he explained. "For me, I'm cold turkey on all criminal activities."
In December, MStars reported that 2 Chainz faced jail time after an arrest in Oklahoma City. He was taken into police custody after weed, pain killers and guns were found on his tour bus.
The rapper's mounting legal troubles also include a possible lawsuit centered on a video filmed backstage at a concert.
A video of 2 Chainz heckling a groupie after a show recently went viral and the video's main star isn't too happy about it.
"What you did to me was not right you lanky lizard @hairweavekiller wait until my lawyers takes care of this how's that for a thot I mean thought!" the young lady who goes by Tina posted as a photo caption on an Instagram photo.
2 Chainz faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
