2 Chainz has been discharged from the hospital days after getting involved in a three-car crash in Miami, Fla.
Initial reports confirmed that the rapper, born Tauheed K. Epps, had been hospitalized after a car accident involving three vehicles. He shared photos of the crash's aftermath on his Instagram Story, showing the extensive damage his car sustained after the crash.
According to a news outlet, he suffered neck and other injuries but was in stable condition at an undisclosed medical facility hours after the crash.
2 Chainz's New Update After the Crash
Sources exclusively revealed to a news outlet that 2 Chainz was released hours after he was hospitalized over the weekend. His doctors checked his condition after banging himself up upon impact.
The report disclosed he managed to prevent major injuries, making himself eligible for discharge.
An investigation is currently underway, but the police suspect one of the drivers involved was probably under the influence. Meanwhile, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson clarified to People that the vehicles involved were a 2016 Mercedes, a 2013 Nissan and a 2010 Toyota.
2 Chainz was in the area to attend the Art Basel weekend where he showed off the visuals for his and 'Lil Wayne's collaborative album, "Welcome 2 Collegrove."
"Today I wanna kinda like show people the artistic expression we did for the album. We call it an audio-visual, so today we [are] gonna play it from top to bottom," he told the attendees.
2 Chainz Shares Cryptic Post After the Crash
On Monday, December 11, 2 Chainz updated his fans regarding his condition and shared more details about the accident.
"This the car that hit us from behind," he captioned the post. "Praise God for the blessings , Things could have been worse , but it wasn't , don't wanna pity party, but i do appreciate every single person that checked up on me."
He added, "Sometimes someone in my position don't feel like the love real or maybe it's mind thing , but I truly felt the love and don't worry bout me , I'm good , shake back king."
His fans immediately sent him heartfelt messages and prayers as they wished him well and for his fast recovery. Fortunately, he was able to get back on track again.
