Azealia Banks has now cancelled her second string of tour dates in one year. The "212" rapper had scheduled a tour during November that was due to begin at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia and end at House Of Blues in Dallas. It was slated to run from mid month (Nov. 18) through the end of the month (Nov. 28). Banks took to Twitter to announce that all of her dates were cancelled aside from an appearance at Terminal 5 in New York.
Banks tweeted, "Hi guys, I'm very busy at work. Your coins will be refunded and I will be back in January. NYC, I'll see you on the 19th. XO - AB."
Over the summer, Banks announced that she had cancelled her 20-date concert tour with K Michelle. She then announced that the R&B artist had backed out on the tour, again, via her Twitter. Banks did attempt to re-create some of the dates but cancelled them in the aforementioned Twitter post. Her more passionate fans were extremely disappointed since this was set to be her first U.S. tour.
Shortly after the dates were cancelled, Banks announced on Twitter, "Hey k*nts! I just got an email from @kmichelle team and she is unfortunately unavailable this fall so she is cancelling out the door. Unfortunate news as this was my first U.S. tour. But my team will work on an alternative plan to try and keep some of the dates in order!"
Some of the tour dates were to hit musical hot spots like Indianapolis at the Murat Theatre, Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom, St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre, Washington DC at the DAR Constitution Hall, Philadelphia at The Mann Center for Performing Arts, Cleveland at Hard Rock Live, New York City at the Best Buy Theatre, Boston at the House of Blues, Portsmouth at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion, Atlanta at Chasten Park Amphitheater, Louisville at the Palace Theatre, Nashville at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and Houston at Bayou Music Center.
Surprisingly enough, Banks seemed to take the cancellation well and did not blast Michelle on Twitter.
