Across their scheduled 2016 dates, tickets are averaging $140 and rising quickly according to data provided by SeatSmart. Twenty One Pilots, the duo comprised of high school friends Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, is on track to play its most expensive show on July 5 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Texas, where resale tickets are averaging $179, with the cheapest ticket available for $58 on the secondary market. The duo's least expensive date so far is the June 28 stop at Uptown Amphitheatre at the NC Music Factory in Charlotte, where tickets are averaging $106 with a get-in price of $57. Whether going to see Twenty One Pilots in Texas or New York, ParkWhiz.com helps navigate through entering and exiting any major venue or arena. For example, New York City parking starts from $10 for the shows in August to be parked within a mile of the venue.
The surge in tickets on the secondary market so early on isn't a huge surprise given how rapidly the duo has grown over the past year. Back in May, Twenty One Pilots hit its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with the release of Blurryface. The album moved an impressive 147,000 units for the week of May 24, Billboard reported. In the last year, the duo has performed at the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards, drawing worldwide attention from fans of many genres.
