A few artists have been generous with their music this holiday and Chris Brown has just been added to the list. On Friday (Nov. 27), Breezy decided to drop a surprise mixtape Before The Party featuring Rihanna, Wale, Pusha T and more.
The 34-track project features guest spots from Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, French Montana and Fetty Wap as well.
In addition to his mixtape, Brown also released a video for “Fine By Me.” Before the Party serves as a prelude to the "Loyal" singer's upcoming album Royalty, which has been pushed back to Dec. 18.
As noted in previous reports, Royalty was originally slated to be released on Black Friday. The album will be Brown's second project for 2015, following a collaborative album Fan of a Fan back in February with Tyga, and his seventh solo studio effort.
In October, Brown took to his Instagram account to share the album's cover art, which shows him cuddling his toddler daughter as she rests her head on his shoulder. Back in August, he announced that his intentions to name the project after his child. Earlier this year, he found out that he was a father and since then, he regularly shares photos of the two together. In recent months, Brown was awarded joint custody of Royalty.
"I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do," Brown wrote of his first child on social media back in May. "I'm gonna give her the world."
Aside from his own project, Brown also made a guest appearance on DJ Khaled's new release, I Changed A Lot. He appears on the new single "Gold Slugs," featuring August Alsina and Fetty Wap. He is also featured on previously released cuts like "How Many Times" and "Hold You Down." Brown is also featured on "Sorry" from Rick Ross' Black Market.
Brown is featured on Tinashe’s latest single “Player,” which received video treatment earlier this month along with French Montana's "Moses."
