It's been a very long almost year for rising rapper Bobby Shmurda (Ackquille Pollard) in jail, but now it seems as though the Brooklyn native may be seeing release in the next few days, if new rumors are to be believed.
TMZ reports that Shmurda's family has been working very closely with his legal team and bondsman Ira Judelson to put p the $2 million collateral needed to secure his bail. Sources indicate that his legal team is now preparing to present a 200 page iron-clad document detailing where all the finances would be coming from.
In late 2014, Shmurda and his GS9 Crew were arrested and brought up on multiple charges such as the conspiracy to commit murder and a slew of drug and weapon charges. Although the rapper had attempted to post bail several times during his incarceration, each time being denied, sources suggest that his legal team have now gathered all the documents needed to do it right this time.
As of yet, Shmurda's attorney Alex Spiro has yet to confirm or deny the news that Shmurda may soon be a free man, however reports indicate that the imprisoned rapper could be out as early as Thursday, Dec. 3.
Despite his incarceration, the "Hot "N*gga" rapper gave fans a glimmer of hope after releasing new music from beyond jail walls, a track titled "Hold it Down" featuring Abillyon.
