After her electrifying performance at Coachella, Solange has set her eyes on a fall release for her upcoming album.
According to Digital Spy, the sultry songstress announced that she will be releasing an album in "early fall."
The site reports that Solange made the big announcement last night (April 23) during a live Twitter Q&A.
When asked when fans should expect new music, Solange replied, "Early fall, have written 25 joints...recording and narrowing, very happy!"
Her upcoming album will be her first full-length release since 2008's Sol-Angel and the Hadley St Dreams.
Solange offered up a little more detail on the forthcoming album in following tweets saying, "It's the album I may have been afraid to make, but had no choice but to make."
Just last year she launched her own record label, Saint Records. Solange has said that her future music and projects will be distributed through Sony.
The singer released a teaser EP True in 2012.
Aside from her music, Solange has been working as Puma's art director and creative consultant.
Her Brazil-inspired line of shoes called Girls of Blaze was released through the shoe brand back in February.
"After years of art directing my own projects and visuals, including music videos, photo shoots, album artwork and web content among many others, I am extremely excited to announce that I am now able to apply my passion for all things design into my new role as an Art Director for the iconic PUMA!!!," Solange wrote on her tumblr page.
Stay tuned for updates on her forthcoming album.
