It has been reported by TMZ that Big Sean's Hollywood Hills home was broken into while he was away in Dubai. Thieves broke into the Los Angeles home and stole unpublished music and $150,000 worth of jewelry. As all of the items were stolen out of a safe, it seems that the thieves may have been familiar with both Big Sean's home and his schedule.
Big Sean nor anyone from his team have commented on the incident yet. Focused on the European leg of the upcoming Rihanna Anti World Tour, the rapper will most likely handle this situation swiftly and quietly. On top of being featured in this upcoming tour, he just wrapped up an amazing half time performance at the Thanksgiving Detroit Lions game and gave them the motivation they needed to beat the Philadelphia Eagles.
He also performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September and had an extraordinary show in his hometown of Detroit. The "Finding Paradise Live in Detroit" show featured DeJLoaf, Royce da 5'9, Lil' Wayne, Jhene Aiko, Bryson Tiller, Mike Posner, Danny Brown, Trick-Trick and last but not least, Eminem. The show, held at the Joe Louis Arena, was definitely a sold out show; a good thing since portions of the proceeds went to the Sean Anderson Foundation. It is clear that Big Sean has nothing but good vibes going for him. This robbery may just be a blessing in disguise.
If it makes matters any better, Big Sean isn't the only unfortunate victim of robbery this week. Lana Del Rey was also robbed but instead of jewelry and music, she was robbed of a 2013 Jaguar XK convertible. The car was eventually impounded, but the thief didn't stop there! She later on came back and robbed Del Rey of a 2015 F-type. That car was also impounded and returned to Del Rey and the thief was charged with two counts of burglary and felony joyriding. Hopefully the thieves that stole from Big Sean will also be found!
