Some would say, "Don't come for me unless I send for you" and that seems to be the exact message 2 Chainz wanted to send to Funkmaster Flex.
The "Netflix" rapper has finally offered up a response to Flex's interview with ESPN's Highly Questionable.
BET reports that 2 Chainz took the opportunity to address the issue in New York City Wednesday (April 29) night at a birthday party for DJ Prostyle of Hot 97's rival station, Power 105.1.
"I don't give a f--- what Funkmaster Flex gotta' say about this n---- from Atlanta," he said to a cheering crowd.
"I came [in] this mother----a from the bottom, I ain't used no motherf---in' help! I ain't come to no n---- for no favors. I got up here on my own!"
Chainz summed things up by reiterating his feelings towards the New York radio vet: "F--- you and what you think about me, n---a."
While visiting the ESPN show, Flex was asked which rapper delivered the weakest freestyle on his Hot 97 radio show.
"The freestyle that wasn't very good on my show, it had to be 2 Chainz," Flex said. "Honestly, I think I caught him off guard. I think he didn't expect me to ask him to do it. Because I've heard him on shows freestyling before so I knew he could handle it. But I think that day, he couldn't handle it."
Flex has not yet responded.
2 Chainz is preparing to release his first project of 2014, Freebase.
