'The View' Raven-Symoné Fires Back at 'RHOA' Star NeNe Leakes; Host Feels "Sad For Her"

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes stopped by Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live to spill the tea about her "shady" experience with the ladies of The View on Nov. 17. Controversial talk show co-host Raven-Symoné fired back at the popular TV personality for the comments she made, telling E! News she feels "sad for her."

Leakes, who's currently starring in Chicago on Broadway, told Cohen the panelist of women did not treat her with respect. In fact, she thinks they were flat out mean to her. Leakes seemed to clash most with 73-year-old Joy Behar, believing she threw the most shade out of them all.

"They just weren't kind," Leakes told Cohen. "They did not have nice manners. I know all of them are tired. their hairstyles are tired, their makeup is tired, you know, whatever."

According to Leakes, Behar spoke negatively whenever she mentioned something related to her personal life. Viewers could cut the tension on set with a knife, as the ladies went head-to-head over everything from her decision to remarry her ex-husband to her decision to leave the RHOA cast for good.

The 48-year-old Broadway actress didn't stop there. She also thought Raven-Symoné was giving her nasty stares throughout the show. Confused by her remarks, Raven-Symoné questioned where the animosity was coming from and ultimately issued Leakes a somewhat sincere apology.

"I feel sad for her. She came to my house party. I don't understand what happened, but that's her right if she felt that way," Raven-Symoné told E! News. "Sorry, girl. My bad."

The 30-year-old former child star went on to acknowledge the business she's in, admitting she's found a way to ignore the criticism that comes her way. Raven-Symoné embraces her outspoken personality and has continued to stand behind her comments, no matter how outlandish the public may find them.

"I'm in a job where it's about opinions and it's about my opinion on certain things and so everyone gets scrutinized for their opinion even though we live in America and we're supposed to have free speech," Raven-Symoné said. "I think that the best way that I can handle it is say my peace, stand behind my truth and move on myself."

Do you see these two ladies reconciling their differences any time soon?
