Earlier this month, Tory Lanez issued a fair warning to his competition and now the Toronto crooner is gearing up to release two new mixtapes on Christmas. He shared the news by sending out a link to his website via Twitter.
According to the site, Lanez plans to drop The New Toronto, which will be hosted by DJ Drama and Gangsta Grillz, and Chixtape 3 on Friday (Dec. 25) at 12:25 p.m. PST.
The “Say It” singer recently wrapped his 21-date Swavenation tour. He was originally slated to hit the road with Young Thug, but once that gig was cancelled, he opted to join Mac Miller on his GO:OD AM tour with Goldlink and others on his days off.
Back in June, Lanez released his Cruel Intentions mixtape. More recently, he spoke highly of his forthcoming music during an interview with HipHopDX.
"As soon as new music drops, nobody is gonna be on the same level, I know that for a fact," he said. "I personally feel like there’s nobody f*cking with me. All these kids out here, rappers, singers, all your favorite artists, they’re all going to have to take the number two right now. If you’re in the number one spot, you gotta slide over to number two. I’m completely confident. I’m completely ready. I’m in the best shape of my life. I just feel like no one can stop me. At the end of the day, I haven’t even begin to even get to anything that’s remotely close to what they call a peak. I’m just getting warmed up. My warm up game is about kill everybody in the championship round. It’s that serious."
