The 2016 festival lineups are coming fast and true as the calendar gets ready to flip from one year to the next and another has just unveiled their big headliners. Edmonton's Northern Lights Music Festival has tabbed Odesza, Porter Robinson, Duke Dumont and RL Grime to headline their 2016 lineup.
Also included on the quality over quantity lineup are Thomas Jack, Keys N Krates, SNBRN, Gryffin, Mija, Zeal vs Killups, Ekali and Mitz. The lineup has already been split up between Saturday and Sunday, with Odesza commanding the crowds on the first night, Friday, March 25 and then Porter Robinson closing out the whole affair the following night on Saturday, March 26. More artists will be announced soon, so stay tuned for the acts who will help fill out the complete lineup. Its promoter Blueprint has a reputation of tabbing big names for its festivals so don't be surprised to see some more big splashes before gates open in March.
The two-day festival will take place over the long Easter weekend at the Shaw Center in Edmonton because it won't be warm enough to take music outdoors just yet.
Tickets go on sale this Monday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. MT. So it you haven't totally decimated your bank accounts on New Year's Eve and the subsequent weekend, grab a two-day pass. A general admission two-day pass will run you $109.50 before fees, while the slightly more upscale VIP option will cost $169.50. Tickets can be picked up on the festival's official site.
We're proud to announce the return of Northern Lights Music Festival set to take place March 25 & 26 at the Shaw...
