Interim manager Guus Hiddink shared an injury update on the starting 11 ahead of today's match on Chelsea's official website. Luckily for the team, it sounds like their forwards are going to be available for this match.
"Loic Remy is okay in a few days. I don't know for the weekend but he will be okay soon after," he said. "If it is a longer period of instability regarding the recovery of strikers then yes, we have just Diego so we will see if we can recover one as fast as possible. Falcao we played in a [training] game and he had the injury again that he had before to the inside of his thigh. Our medical staff tried to build him up but he had a setback which is not a positive signal. We hope within 10 days he might be fit again but not ready to play.'
Palace manager Alan Pardew shared his own injury report, which is more in the negative than the above report.
"Team news is as much as it was against Swansea, we're without Sako, Gayle, Wickham, Bolasie and Cabaye," he told the team's website. "With the bodies we have available I'm confident but Chelsea looked more assured against Manchester United so they're favorites. The foundation of Chelsea's team is a bit better now, they have two deeper lying midfielders and have great players."
