Waka Flocka Flame often shares strong opinions on Twitter, and now he's speaking out on Bill Cosby controversy. In a series of tweets released this past Friday (Jan. 1) he asserts that the rape scandal is "an organized lie" and points to racial issues. Waka believes that because Cosby is a famous minority, the media is out to get him and the public is only too ready to believe it.
Waka is not the only celebrity who believes the rape allegations are a sham. Comedian Eddie Griffin has said he considers Cosby a role model, and credits the elderly entertainer with inspiring minorities to go to college. Griffin has said he believes the charges against Cosby are intended to ruin his image.
"There is a systematic effort to destroy every black male entertainer's image. They want us all to have asterisks by our name," Griffin said in a recent interview with Vlad TV. "Kobe, raped a white woman in Colorado. Dr. Cosby, raped 37 b*tches and counting. Nobody leaves this business clean."
Cosby was arrested Dec. 30 and charged with sexual assault in Pennsylvania. The charges stem from a 2004 sexual assault case involving Temple University employee Andrea Constand. Constand accused the once-beloved comedian of drugging and raping her while she was in his home in Pennsylvania in 2004. During a deposition, Cosby said he had given women quaaludes in order to have sex with them. The comedian had said his interaction with Constand was consensual, but Constand told the court that she was gay and in a relationship with a woman and that Cosby raped her.
