Kelly Rowland seems to really be adjusting and settling in quite nicely into her role as a mother. She and her son Titan share their smiles with the world on the cover of Parents Magazine along with a wonderful feature story where Rowland shares the joys of motherhood.
Rowland, who gave birth to her fist child one year ago, has yet to stop glowing since welcoming baby Titan into the world. The former Destiny's Child singer posed with her one year old on the cover of the magazine that promotes "healthy kids, happy families" - and that's exactly how they looked, with big bright eyes and smiles. This Is RnB reported that the new mom not only posed for the cover, she shared some of her most intimate and adoring moments that she's encountered from being a mom, thus far.
According to the site, Rowland was a little apprehensive on becoming a mother in the beginning stages, believing that she didn't have what it takes to be a good mom.
"I was nervous that I didn't have the patience to be a good mom because before Titan I had zero," explained Rowland during her Parents interview. "But now I am very patient. The Bible verse 'love is patient' is real! I am much more laid-back now. I don't make the little things into big issues like I once did."
The 33-year-old experienced a couple of different life changes in 2014. Before giving birth to her son, she married his father, Tim Witherspoon (also her manager) but lost her mother in the same year at the age of 66 according to Life & Style Magazine. Rowland shared photos of her wedding to Witherspoon along with a brief note to her fans that read, "while I said I DO, the following months brought along a HELLO to a new little life! ... Unfortunately, a GOODBYE as well, but HELLO again to a Guardian angel," she captioned on the Instagram photo.
Nevertheless, Rowland has committed herself to going forward in life and bouncing back -- especially with her post-baby body. In the February issue of the magazine, she provides some words of wisdom to expecting moms or mothers who have just given birth and are anxious to get their bodies back in shape. "It takes about a year to get the weight off," said Rowland during the interview, People reports. "Don't beat yourself up if it takes even longer."
The "Dirty Laundry" singer gave some great workout advice and told how she managed to continue working outs throughout the duration of her pregnancy. While others find exercise to be exhausting, Rowland believes it's quite the opposite.
"People think of exercise as tiring, but it actually gives you energy," explained Rowland. She's gonna need all of that energy to keep up with her one-year-old who she says has changed her world completely and makes her feel whole.
Rowland captured some of those fun moments from the photo shoot and shared those clips with her Instagram followers.
