Chelsea signed Spanish footballer Pedro from FC Barcelona over the summer, leading to his EPL premiere during the team's last game against West Brom. This ended in victory for Chelsea, and a first goal for Pedro. Speaking to ChelseaFC.com, the midfielder reminisced about his debut.
"I remember it very well," he said. "The players welcomed me very well that day in the changing room and it was a really good start to my Chelsea career. The goal I scored was an important one and I will always remember it, my first in the Premier League and it was like a dream start, but West Bromwich are a strong team so it will be very difficult when we play them again tonight but I am looking forward to it."
Meanwhile, West Brom coach Tony Pulis is also wary of his opponents today.
"We know how tough the game against Chelsea is going to be," the manager said, according to PremierLeague.com. "They have wonderful players. We need to be at our best. We have been steady with the players in training ahead of the trip."
