Adele's Karaoke Version Of Nicki Minaj's 'Monster' Verse Put Song Back on Charts

Adele pretty much broke the Internet the other day when her clip from James Corden's Carpool Karaoke went viral. In the clip, Adele spits her version of Nicki Minaj's “Monster” verse and its been reported that the rendition has helped put the song back on the charts.

The Kanye West track, which also features verses from Rick Ross and Jay Z, was released back in 2010 and comes from West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. “Monster” currently sits at No. 9 on the iTunes hip-hop chart. HotNewHipHop predicts that the song will make an entry on the Hot 100 next week.

Following the video’s release, Minaj took to social media and expressed how impressed she was by Adele’s rapping abilities.

Apparently, the “Hello” singer is a fan of the Young Money camp. Back in November, she shared her desire to remix Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” When asked about the slew of memes for her hit “Hello” and his “Hotline Bling,” the British songstress revealed that she would like to work with the Toronto native.

“I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake. I love Drake so much,” she told ETalk. “I even got the coat that's in the video, I got it delivered the other day, I ordered it. The red one.”

Drake promptly responded and it sounded like he was all in. He told the Fader, "I'd do anything with Adele. I'd literally go to Adele's house right now and do laundry for her.”

How cool would it be if Adele, Nicki Minaj and Drake collaborated on a track? Let’s hope something comes to fruition.
