Ciara, Russell Wilson Taunted Relentlessly After Ex Future Dropped 'Purple Reign' Mixtape

This weekend was a mix of highs and lows for R&B songstress, Ciara, and her beau, Russell Wilson, who were taunted relentlessly after her ex fiance, Future, dropped his Purple Reign mixtape. The Dance Like We're Making Love songstress and her Seattle Seahawks QB boyfriend were the target of abject harassment due to the bad blood between her and Future after his most recent blow up on Twitter where he claimed she had "control issues" regarding their son (Baby Future.)

Early Sunday (Jan.17th), in the wee hours of the morning, Future dropped a surprise mixtape, Purple Reign, to many fan's excitement. Unfortunately for Ciara and Wilson, almost instantly their mentions became filled with emoji umbrellas symbolizing Future's new mixtape.

In addition, countless memes erupted which poked fun at Wilson and Ciara after his team, the Seattle Seahawks. took a crushing loss to the Carolina Panthers in the 2016 NFL Playoffs with a final score of 24 to 31.

To add insult to injury, apparently the Carolina Panthers even joined in on some of the trolling as according to reports, during their pre-game, they listened to nothing but Future.

However, despite all the negativity, Ciara seemed to be unfazed by the pettiness of many and took to Instgram to show her support of her man first putting up a doting post celebrating his courage and his tireless work ethic. She then followed up by posting some adorable pics of her and little Future at the game supporting him.
