Aundrea Fimbres leaving Danity Kane to start family with fiancé

After multiple rumors surfaced last week, it has been confirmed: founding Danity Kane member Aundrea Fimbres will be leaving the newly reunited girl group.

At Danity Kane's #NoFilter Tour kick-off on Friday, May 16, Fimbres announced she is now engaged and will be leaving the group to start a family with her soon-to-be husband, according to E! Online.

"I do have to say one thing, if you guys don't know: I just recently got engaged," she told the audience in San Francisco. "I can tell you that two dreams of mine [have] been to be a singer and be on stage like this and to have a family. Well, in a couple months, that's all coming true."

Fimbres also introduced her new stepdaughter to the audience before revealing her true motives for leaving Danity Kane: having children of her own.

"I've gotten to do some amazing things with Danity Kane but it's time for me to start the next chapter in my life. So I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart...I love you so much. And I just wanted you guys to know from me. They are going to kill it for you while I go and have some babies," she concluded.

Fimbres' departure from Danity Kane should come as no surprise to attentive fans. Last week, the group released its first new single in five years, "Lemonade," which featured only three young girls on the album cover, presumably mimicking the looks of members Dawn Richard, Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Box.

Fans also seemed to think Fimbres wasn't even a featured singer in "Lemonade" but according to an interview by MTV with co-writer Soaky, she was on hand for the recording process of the new track.

But, since then, Fimbres has been lying low, not promoting new DK material on her Twitter, which has been silent since April 25. She's not the first member to drop out of Danity Kane; original member D. Woods has not been included in the reformed group.

Fimbres will continue on the road with Danity Kane. The group's #NoFilter Tour will continue on Wednesday, May 21, in Chicago.
