Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande Swap Spots on Digital Downloads Chart

It was another huge week in terms of download sales and, as predicted by Music Times during last week's chart summary, Iggy Azalea quit playing second fiddle to Ariana Grande.

The Australian rapper's "Fancy" overtook Grande's "Problem" on the downloads chart, after sitting in second place for three weeks. Azalea's single sold 336,000 downloads, a huge 44 percent jump, which can probably be attributed to her performance during the Billboard Music Awards, which occurred right before tracking started for last week.

Trumping "Problem" wasn't a huge "victory" for Azalea, considering that she makes a guest appearance on the track, but it wasn't a huge loss for Grande either. The song still saw a 15 percent jump in sales thanks to its own Billboard performance, and it "settled" for 284,000 downloads.

Nico & Vinz continued their upward trend as the single "Am I Wrong" rose from no. 6 to no. 3 thanks to a 36 percent sales jump. The song finished the week with 156,000 downloads. John Legend's "All of Me" was the only song that lost steam in this week's Top 10, falling a mere 7 percent to 147,000 downloads in the no. 4 position.

DJ Snake and Lil Jon refused to turn down (sorry), and "Turn Down For What" stayed in the no. 5 spot after moving 137,000 downloads. Even Pharrell Williams and "Happy" managed to see an increase in sales after such a long stretch on the charts as the single sold another 134,000 copies.

Jason Derulo is down to only one song in the Top 10, but it continues to rise. "Wiggle" moved up to no. 7 after selling another 124,000 units. The biggest sales jump went to Ed Sheeran, probably because of his appearance on The Voice. "Sing" spent two weeks at no. 10 before falling off, but it bounced back up to no. 8 with 114,000 in sales (a 52 percent jump from last week).

Two new tracks made their Top 10 debut this week: No. 9 is "Rude" by MAGIC, which rose from no. 15 last week. That song sold 112,000 copies. Miranda Lambert's "Somethin' Bad" debuted at no. 10 during its first week of release (with some help from Carrie Underwood). That track sold 107,000 downloads and can only be looking up.
