Directly on the heels of dropping his newly released mixtape, Purple Reign on Jan. 17, Future is now set to premiere his new album on Feb. 5 on DJ Khaled’s new Apple Music radio show. Back in January, the Atlanta rapper hinted at new music to follow his mixtape, however fans never imagined it would come so soon.
Last month Future alluded to making a “classic” after blasting his ex-fiancee Ciara for preventing him from spending time with their one year-old son together in a Twitter rant. It appears as though the wait is over, as Future took to Twitter to inform his fans that his newest project would drop on Friday.
Khaled also confirmed the news and took to his own social media to inform that he had just inked a deal with Apple Music and had gotten his own show, and its first installation would premiere Future’s new album in entirety.
Although the year is just getting started, Future is making post haste in order to ensure that his 2016 is just as massive 2015 was. Last year, Future dropped projects such as Beastmode, 56 Nights, DS2 and What a Time To Be Alive which all helped to solidify him at the top of the charts. Fans will have to tune in on Friday to see what the next chapter will hold for the rapper.
