Lady Gaga has been forced to postpone two tour dates on her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball schedule. Today (May 28), the "Venus" singer announced that she would be unable to perform this week due to a nasty case of bronchitis, thus forcing her to push back her Seattle and Vancouver shows.
Gaga made the announcement on her official Twitter just hours before she was due to hit the stage at the KeyArena in Seattle, name dropping Disney's The Little Mermaid in the process.
"I'm devastated I'm unable to perform this week. Ursula took my mermaid voice I've come down with horrible Bronchitis," Gaga tweeted to her 41.4 million little monsters, alongside a picture of the villainous sea witch. "My deepest apologies to Seattle and Vancouver, we'll reschedule those shows & be back to make it up to you. I <3 monsters. #sadgaga."
Lady Gaga was set to perform in Seattle tonight and at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on Friday, May 30.
She's expected to reschedule the cancelled tour dates at a later time. They would have been her 14th and 15th shows on the ArtRave schedule.
Gaga is next expected to perform on June 2 in San Diego, presuming a speedy recovery.
